Join Maplewood Garden Club on Monday, September 14, at 7:30 when professional photographer and MGC member Joy Yagid explains how your cell phone camera can be one of the most useful tools in your gardening tool bag. Have you ever forgotten what you planted and where it is? Is there a bare spot that wasn’t there before? Do you visit gardens for inspiration and want to incorporate the plants and designs you see into your own garden? Maybe you saw a plant in your neighbor’s yard and loved it—but don’t know its name? Do you have 18,874 images on your phone and no way of finding the one of that plant you fell in love with? During her talk Joy will answer these questions and walk us through it all step by step, showing how using your cell phone camera can lead to better gardening. Her presentation will follow a brief business meeting and conclude with a live Q&A session. Joy Yagid is the creator of the very popular Facebook group SOMA New Jersey Gardening.
