"ignorance is bliss"

here on Thursday prime time, fox 5 NY is airing far more important stuff than the January 6 hearings being aired everywhere else

8PM: Master Chef junior edition : the semifinal
9PM: Don't Forget The Lyrics season 1 episode 1.

The NY Times states "all the news that's fit to print"

Perhaps for fox news, it is "ignorance is bliss"???

CBS 2 is showing Young Sheldon, United States of Al, and Ghosts

NBC 4 is showing Law & Order, and Law Order SVU

The CW is showing Walker, and Legacies

My 9 is showing Dateline, and Chicago PD

Only ABC 7 is keeping their schedule open for NBA Finals

Possible you were looking a week ahead? Game 3 of the NBA finals was last night, with Game 6 next Thursday if needed.

The NBC 4 and ABC 7 listings I see show specials on the hearing. I don’t know what’s up with the CBS 2 listings, but the network has said it will carry the hearing live, too.

My TV app shows that Channel 2 will be covering the Committee tonight at 8:00. However, since my TV is stuck on Fox Cable News, I simply will not be able to watch anything else  cheese

Last I heard, ALL of the major networks except Fox News, plus some others are covering the hearings.  A smaller division of Fox (with much lower viewership) will air the hearings.

Sorry, I didn't really mean anything by it. I got my listings from TVGuide.com. I just clicked forward a couple of hours to prime time and wrote down what i saw. I guess the site hadn't updated the listings at that point. ABC7 just had To Be Announced in that timeslot, so I just figured it was NBA. I know nothing about basketball and outside the occasional Giants game, haven't watched network or cable TV in about 10 years.

NYT says the hearings had 20 million viewers last night. Maybe a few Fox viewers changed the channel.

Unfortunately, the Hearing viewership was about 10 percent of the 2022 Superbowl watchers, but at least it was widely clipped and discussed throughout the next day's news cycle.

Unforttunately the panel is preaching to the choir, they need to include the congregation.

How do you suggest they do that?
