Advice pls: Linking Twitter acc to LinkedIn?

I'm helping D revamp his accounts, and we're reviving a Twitter account he's never really used. We're planning to link it to his other accounts including LinkedIn. Can anyone think what/why not? Any other advice?

Many thanx.

If it's not used, don't link it.

Who cares. Twitter's dead. Linking the account is not going to help him in any way, unless he'a fantastically pithy or self markets himself as a relevant subject matter expert. Otherwise, a hiring manager who might feel threatened by his arrival could pick through his every statement looking for one to misinterpret. Can't help, can only hurt. Pass.

my personal opinion is that linked in should stay separate from all other social media.

I see no value in Twitter unless it's a channel to market for a viable business.

No one remembers good tweets, they only remember bad/stupid tweets.  Very little upside and mostly downside.

Thanks!

The idea was to tweet (to select niche) on related topics for their industry, here, especially as there's a fair amount of change in government policy and in State frameworks. We were hoping to strike a positive note, as well as highlighting a new tool or strategy each day.

Sounds like you're saying 'forget it' regardless.
