Do your hearing aids have a Bluetooth connection? (do they connect to your phone via an app?

If they do, I have never activated it. Thanks for the tip — I will check it out.

i have an appt at Costco this week to see if I can hear the Amazon Dot music via bluetooth on my hearing aids. Another reason to buy hearing aids from Costco — customer service is great!

Do you have the paperwork or the box that the hearing aids come in, or some other way to tell the manufacturer and model? If so, could probably save you a trip if you share.

OMG, just read an 81 page manual in a booklet smaller than a deck of cards! My eyes!!
But avoiding a trip to Costco during Christmas shopping will be worth it!

OK, should definitely work. If you can find the maker and model number, I’ll find the manual online and point out the relevant instructions for connecting.

found this receipt from 2016 (bad year due to my husband‘s health decline and death after two years) My record keeping took a nose dive!
I could call Costco for the info if this isn’t what you need.
thanks for taking an interest!
Here are the relevant instructions for pairing the hearing aids to your iPhone or iPad:

Give it a try and report back.
Good luck!
AFRAID i need more than luck. Went to Costco — filled with wild-eyed, present- buying hoards of shoppers, pushing carts filled with stuff, so high pushers regularly crashed into other shoppers.
That said, the two or three shoppers at the hearing aid center had the full attention of the techs. My phone allegedly is connected to Bluetooth and my Amazon echo device. Once back home, I realized I missed a step evidently, cause my Dot is not coming thru via my hearing aids.
I am way too invested in this issue so I will take a step back until I have the strength to perhaps find someone who makes house calls!
Edited to add @jimmurphy….thanks for your help. Also found out today that I posted the info from an older purchase, and today Costco provided me with my 2020 info, so that is a good thing.
i am happy to report that the miracle of my Amazon music, via bluetooth, is, as I type this, filling my hearing aids with glorious sound! I am afraid to turn it off, for fear I won’t be able to do it again, so there is that.
But, if this sound is even close to what hearing folks get with ear buds, etc., I am truly blessed!
My thanks to the caring MOL community which always comes through with advice, guidance for problems, etc.,, regardless of political persuasions! All suggestions gave me the imputus to stay the course.

Very glad you were able to get it to work.
I have a huge issue getting my hearing aids filling my ears with Amazon Alexa music! I don’t listen daily, so when I decide to tune in, it seems I have to reinvent the wheel! it shows my hearing aids are connected, but the sound comes thru my Dot.
What needs to be “on”? Bluetooth? Airplane mode?
If you can fix my “hold” on the hearing aid device, I promise that I will listen to more music and avoid reading so much news!

Almost certainly a bluetooth issue.
Each time you want to listen to music, go to Settings and then Bluetooth.
Ensure that you are connected to the hearing aids and not the Dot.

What should I put on my Christmas Wish List to allow me to listen my Amazon Alexa from either my IPhone or IPad2?
Recall that I wear hearing aids, and currently, to enjoy my Alexa music (I have two devices) I play it very loudly.
I envision filling my head with music, without complaints from neighbors or from Harry the Cat.
