Seeing Harvey tomorrow night so it might be crowded. Hoping not to wait an hour to get out of the lot
I give you great advice and you go behind my back!?

Park at Port Authority and take the 7 train.
I prefer driving to 15X (Secaucus Junction) and taking the train to Penn ... LIRR to Shea ... LIRR costs more than the subway, but it's a 16 minute (comfortable) ride. All the Jersey bound trains stop at Secaucus on the way back out ...
But the wait for LIRR after the game can be a half hour. I think it's by far the best option for going to the game. For getaway, not so much.

It can be up to a half hour, but on Friday we only waited about 10 minutes ... The thought of taking the 7 back is just too yicky for me.
if you take the 7, you get to hear that trio with the lead banjo playing "Meet the Mets."
