We're happy to report that we'll have a table at Monday's 2025 Community Coalition on Race MLK Volunteer Fair! This event provides a wonderful opportunity to honor Dr. King’s mission while strengthening the bonds between our two towns.
The volunteer fair is from 3:30 - 5 PM at Columbia High School Cafeteria, 17 Parker Ave., Maplewood. Cafeteria access is available from the parking lot on the corner of Parker Ave and Valley Street.
Please consider stopping by our table to learn more about The Garden!
I'm for this but do you have any music shows coming anytime soon? I'm not assuming it's easy to line up bands and put on shows but you've done some great ones in the past.

Thank you for your kind words.
We enjoyed the live shows, too! COVID-19 put a stop to those, and restarting the shows was a challenge.
But never say never.
Fortunately, the community has remained incredibly supportive of our work, including The Garden and our BackPack Pals program. BackPack Pals supports 150 kids each week with a weekend's worth of nutritious food to help bridge the gap between free/assisted lunch on Friday and in-school breakfast on Monday.
I'll show up one of these days to help. Re music, dollar for dollar (given how cheap the shows are), Chuck Prophet was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I was a casual listener but became a big fan after that. I'm a very long time fan of Marshall Crenshaw so loved that. Garland Jeffries was quite solid. There were other good ones but I don't remember all of the artists names at this point.
Thanks for all
