Cosby will get prison.

Specific sentence to be determined, but a minimum of 3 years.

headed to jail. Hope this brings his victims a small sense of victory. Way too small a price to pay for what he did but at least he ends his life like the dog he is.

The judge set up a scenario where photo-op of his removal in cuffs would be available to news sources as a message. He could have been removed out a back door.

the one thing that sticks out is that he admitted drugging woman.....with many of the accusations against various people, it is he said, she said.....but with Cosby, the fact that he drugged people indicates guilt.  sadly, there are people that will make up false accusations.  I knew a woman who claimed to be a lesbian, but would flirt with and pursue males, then accuse them of sexual harassment..even did it to a minor with autism who doesn't like physical contact and she claimed he touched her inappropriately (I was with him the whole time, it never happened)...and people took her word for it...  I witnessed it myself.  the ones that lie make it hard for those being truthful....with this supreme court guy, I suspect he honestly would not remember if he did it or not...especially if he was high or drunk at the time.

there was an incident when I was about 11 and pre pubescent and walking to  the store about 5 blocks away.  a neighbor was having their roof done and the men were cat calling me.

Why should he be? He’s been treated with kid gloves for 50 years.

I read a comment made by Chuck Todd.  He noted that his Dad passed away in 1988, but he sometimes imagines talking to him about current events.

Todd said something along the lines of, imagine what his father's response would have been in 1988, about Bill Cosby and Donald Trump, and which one in 2018 would be President and which one in jail.

The other cast members of the Cosby show can forget about ever seeing another nickel of residuals for that show.

Low life serial rapist.  There was little about Cosby and his "America's Dad" persona that was ever grounded in reality, including his mockery of a marriage.  I noticed that the wife, Camille, didn't show up for Bill's remand to prison.  Even she couldn't muster up that much of a front.

 Trader Joe's is hiring.

They aren't guilty of anything.  I just feel bad for them.

TV One still airs Cosby Show reruns. Probably not enough residuals for the actors. So glad Geoffrey Owens has found other work.

Cosby deserves his punishment as do all of the other powerful and influential men guilty of raping and assaulting women for years. Hopefully, the others who are currently suffering through being 'disgraced' and 'fired' and then forced to collect huge payouts, severance and stock, will actually see the inside of a courtroom and do some time.

I noticed the show still on a few months ago, maybe BET channel.  It had been on another channel that pulled it when the accusations surfaced, but it re appeared on the other channel a while later.

I was waiting for someone to tell the people on Manifest.

Cosby to be released.

Still, two years was more than anyone expected.

will not be a retrial

does he now sue for damages?

How did this get screwed up?

Apparently he cut a deal in 2005. In exchange for testifying in a civil suit, the DA agreed not to pursue a criminal prosecution. The PA Supreme Court ruled that that deal should have prevented his prosecution and trial in the first place.

There are nuances of the law here I don't understand. But in short, his due process rights were violated. I'm not sure if that means he can sue.

Sheesh.

I just picked this up and have only gotten through the first 18 of 79 pages.

It has more twists than an Agatha Christie novel.

Will the Commonwealth appeal?

Will the nine wise ones take the appeal?

Read beyond the pages I have thus far, to see what happens next:

Prosecutorial over reach.  It’s a crying shame.
