Custom Dining Room Chairs -- Where to find in NJ, NC/online

I am looking for Dining Room chairs that I haven't been able to find at Wayfair or at any local chain store.  Has anyone ordered furniture from NC?  I hear they make wonderful furniture, but I wouldn't know where to begin to look.  If anyone can recommend a furniture store with a wide variety of Dining Room chairs in NJ, NC or online where I can customize the fabric, I'd be most appreciative.

I have used Carrington Court based in North Carolina, twice.  I have a Dickens Wing Chair, in the pattern they show online, and two Eliot Armchairs, in a blue print, in my living room  They have many fabrics and patterns and will send samples of that plus any wood stains.

They are reasonable, easy to deal with and have a rather traditional slant.  I always liked their dining room chairs, but I have fake Chippendale's that I really like.

That's a great resource. I will bookmark it for friends. We have a zillion chairs (well, maybe 40+), so we are good here.

Does anyone else think that Chippendale chairs look a little "easy"? Probably not PC...

1.   Don't have the chair manufacturer customize the fabric seats.

Buy the chair you like, with their least expensive seat option.  Then have seats re-covered locally (Terminal Mill Ends in Union is one option).

2.   Are you working with a decorator?

If so, you can get into the D&D building in Manhattan (59th Street, between 2nd & 3rd), where many furniture and fabric manufacturers have trade show rooms.
