Did the new Superintendent start on August 1st as advertised?

Can anyone confirm if the new Super is in town as scheduled? His start date was August 1st.

Yes, South Orange/Maplewood School Superintendent John Ramos started work this week. I believe Monday was his first official day in the office ;-)

August 1 was Saturday, which is not a normal workday for school district employees.
