A tartare and piece of cod I had on Tuesday would beg to differ. 
Well, they did have the cod thing down long before the French did...
Anyplace decent? May be returning to my regular 1-2 week stints back there soon.

Yeah, Galvin Bistro in Marylebone. Classic french joint that does things right. Not perfect, by any means, but worth a dinner.
