Yeah, he said it was outrageous that Trudeau held a press conference where he said he is looking after Canadian interests. So I guess Kudlow's job is to spout the same nonsense, but make it sound like it comes from a reasonable person. That will last about a week.

This is what Trump does. When he gets called out on his BS, he starts to throw at random people and yell "fire!", in order to distract from his own failures. He has essentially threatened a trade war, and everyone else is calling his bluff, so he is out of options, and he needs new stuff so we won't notice. Also, he is happy we are not talking about the Russian probe for two days. The funny thing is, he can't really help himself, and within a few days he will undermine his whole strategy and start talking about Mueller and tariffs again.

Just get the house, and if at all possible the senate, back in 2018. That will distract him enough. Then elect a democrat to the WH in 2020 to fix the GOP damage as usual, and we should be good as new!

Yeah, I was being somewhat facetious. But my main point is that the only way towards normality is to elect Democrats at any level of Government, and you are right, even if we do that it will take a long time, but we still must.
