Yes. We switched to them after another vet had been nickeling and diming us to death. And we never felt that they were either overcharging or recommending unnecessary but extremely expensive tests or treatments there. They are quite rational!

I love Doctor stack and doctor Johnson. Reasonable and relatable - just wonderful people all around. I take my 3 dogs there.
+1
I also use Dr. Sepulveda in Glenn Rock. I have used his services over sixteen years, and my PETS love him. He separated from Millburn Veterinarian when Glauberg sold the business, so he established a practice with the latest equipment for non- invasive surgeries and other methodologies -- hey, veterinary medicine is not my field. http://veterinarywellnesscenternj.com/

I love Dr. Stack. Very caring and professional. I just had my GS dog neutered and everything was explained to me before the procedure. Buddy is fine and was very well taken care of by Dr. Stack and Dr. Johnson. I highly recommend them. Their staff is so nice and helpful also. Jodi, Olga and all r the best caring people. Taking my animals there for yrs. even fostered some dogs for Ruth and came on his property for adoption day.
On top of the professional expertise, we also love Dr. Stack dry humor (sorta Monty Pythonesque).
Absolutely Dr Stack! For the routine, of course, and he's seen us through rough times and serious illnesses with correct diagnoses and wonderful treatment plans and sympathetic and compassionate care at the end.
If you are still deciding we are pleased with dr. Levine. He and Dr. Knight are both very concerned with their patients.
I drive from West Orange, near Montclair border, passing by two local vets, to get to South Orange Animal Hospital. (Over the course of my dogs' lives, we have used Madison Vet, Millburn Vet, West Orange Animal Hospital and have been happiest with Dr. Levine's office.)
Why?
Extremely knowledgeable vets who clearly love animals. They always take the time to explain everything - you won't feel like you're being rushed through your appointment.
Flawlessly done surgeries - minor and major!
Much more reasonably priced for professional services and the products they have on hand.
You can not find better emergency responsiveness, including off-hours.
Regular business hours are great.
Friendly, helpful, relatively efficient front desk. They treat you like you are the customer and that you matter, rather than that you are bothering them.
So many people on MOL love this office - Thanks to their rave reviews over the years, I am very happy to have made the switch.
They happily work with The Seeing Eye® and care for many of the puppies that Puppy Raisers in the area raise, including Demi, the 7 month old black lab pup my daughter is raising.
What PDG said^^ All of it!!

And let's be clear -- had Dr Stack wanted to, he'd have made a hilarious, cynical, stand up comic!
Thanks
