HELP! Tiny Ants.

These little tiny ants have overrun my home office and other parts of the house.  I've put traps all over, sprayed, both inside and outside, but they're like that damn Energizer Bunny, they just keep going.

Any ideas before I call in the experts.

May be Pharoh ants.   Not that common in this area but I have encountered them a few times.

Stop spraying..............that only scatters them and they form satellite nests.

Combat discs for small ants are an excellent remedy.   Place them per direction and allow  a few days

to show results.

If no improvement call Jerry Buckingham............he is the best out there

We had pharaoh ants in South Orange. Terro traps worked well. The key is to just ignore them once the traps are down. Try to place them close to wherever they’re coming into the house so they don’t have to walk so far to meet their doom.

Ugh! We have them in two bathrooms and yes, they drive you nuts because they're everywhere and much smaller than other ants. Terro bait traps are the best. Give it time and they will disappear.

I’ve had luck scattering coffee grounds around our foundation.

Thanks everyone, I'll give that a try before I call Buckingham.

As soon as I see ants (not every year, but fairly often) I call Jerry Buckingham.  The OTC/home remedies just never seem to do it and he fixes it every time!  (And if there is a recurrence he will come back, but I think that has only happened once to us in 30-ish years.)

Terro traps worked for us, too.  But it takes some time -- several days at least -- for the nest to die.

Ditto sac. I called Jerry Buckingham last fall after trying everything I read or people told me to get rid of ours! Of course, problem solved. Now I will call him right away if it happens again.

Jerry actually says the Terro traps work well for ants. I have to use them every spring, and sometimes in the middle of winter. Be patient and also after a week or so, toss the old one and replace with a new one (or two). The more fresh bait they take back to the nest, the better.

thought I had them beat, but they came back in droves earlier this week. Called Buckingham and he came yesterday. Set some traps inside and sprayed outside. So far today, so good.

Mine came last week ... earlier than ever before.  I called Buckingham and he came within an hour or so and ... no more ants!

I wish I had seen this thread sooner. Thought I was the only one with this problem. I put down the ant traps from Home Depot last weekend. Now I will wait and see.

White vinegar is useful as a spray and cleaning agent for the area that they are entering. And it won't harm your pets.
