Help with DMV inspection website

The last time I used the site, there was a simple web page that had all of the state inspection stations listed. You click on the a station, and if they had a webcam, you could see how long the line was.

Some putz decided that the web site should be re-designed, and they have turned it into a monstrosity of glitzy uselessness. And even when you finally find the inspection station you're looking for, there doesn't seem to be a way to see their camera (do they not have webcams anymore?)

Anyway, all I want is to see Newark's inspection facility webcam.

Anyone know how to do that?

found it through google

still don't see any way to get it from the DMV site though.

I tried to go to the Newark one and couldn't figure out how to get in. Where the heck's the entrance?

I don't exactly remember. It was actually my son who needed the inspection, not me.

As far as I recall, it's somewhere around the back of the DMV office itself.

Entrance for the drive-through inspection, or entrance into the office? The inspection entrance is off Frelinghuysen Avenue, but I figured you meant the office — in which case I’d probably be in your shoes, since I’ve never gone inside.

The inspection entrance. There's a sign that points to a back road that appeared to be blocked off by a truck and a bunch of shipping containers, so I figured I'd taken a wrong turn and backed out, but there was no other entrance (except for the driving test lane). It was really weird.

 I went there last Thursday around 11 am and was out in less than a half hour.  It is a little tricky finding the entrance but there are signs.

As I recall, the entrance is the road at the light, off Frelinghuysen. It curls around to left, behind the corner building, on its way to the inspection lanes, which are obscured but down on the left in the photo, this side of the Storage sign.

Yeah, Concord St. I'm pretty sure I went down there last time, but there was a line of cars when i went before and i just followed them. Yesterday I was the only one, and it looked blocked off at the end, so I turned around.

Sounds like you were in the right spot. Maybe the Liquidator Department Store, or whatever operates that lot of containers, picked an inopportune time to block the way.

Not sure if this is going to help you; but;

All Towns, in Union, just beyond Milburn Avenue on Springfield Avenue does inspections.

Last time I went there, It was about $80.00.
