 I disagree that voluntary military parents whose kids are at home, presumably being cared for, attending school, playing sports, surrounded by caring adults is the same as taking a screaming child from a parent's arms and putting them in a cage surrounded by strangers who are instructed to not comfort them.

But then, I think we have different philosophies, so it wouldn't shock me if you saw them as the same thing.

This is so f-ing stupid, I want to puke. As a country, we collectively “care” for, support and provide support for our military families left behind. It’s no picnic but it’s not even the same realm of what’s happening at our borders. 

And the children “left behind” are typically cared for in their homes, with at least one parent or other family members. They know where their parent (s) are and what’s happening (at least in a general sense) . And there’s a greater purpose.

The single, solitary reason this happening is because Trumps mad he can’t get $25b for his f-ing wall. Period.

I am not a legal expert, but why does he have to do this by Executive Order? Why can't he just call Jeff Sessions and tell him to back off? As far as I know he didn't need an executive order to start this zero tolerance nonsense, so why does he need one to stop it?
