How to add google calendar to iphone calendar

My husband's employer puts his schedule on When To Work (W2W).  He gets it on his calendar.  He shared it with me, but it only shows up on google.  He can only directly share iphone calendars with me, the google one is only shareable through google.  I don't want to have two calendar apps on my phone, but he has a pitman schedule, so I need to have access to it for scheduling stuff since he doesn't have a normal Monday -Friday 9-5 job.

Google searches show "how to" from 2017, which is out of date since half of the steps included don't seem to exist any longer.

Maybe you can log in directly to his W2W account and sync that through your Iphone calendar?

Do you have a google account, like a gmail one? You can log into your gmail account and choose to sync that calendar to your calendar. I see events from all of my google calendars on my iphone calendar.

If you go to https://calendar.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect?pli=1 it should let you select what calendars will get synced to your iPhone.

Alternately, you can just use to Google Calendar app on your phone. It won't sync anything into the iOS calendar app, but it's a little easier to turn on/off calendars in there. I use both apps on my phone, but I use the Google Calendar app more than the default iOS app.

Admittedly, I don't use my calendar tons, but I have to check things for work and have a shared calendar with my wife.

 That's the thing that is confusing me.  He sent it to my gmail, and I signed in under google and I can see it in google calendar.  And MY google calendar shows up on my iphone calendar, but this calendar technically isn't mine, it just shows up on mine.  When in google calendars it shows up under the heading of "other calendars."  I think that is why it isn't automatically syncing to my iphone calendar
