How to check mail-in ballot request status

I've been on the "permanent" list to receive mail-in ballots for several years, but my spouse had not done that previously.  However, we recently received the form in the mail for him to apply and he filled it out and mailed it in, but no ballot arrived along with mine several weeks ago and still no ballot.  Is there someplace online to check whether he is on record as being a mail-in voter or does he just have to go to the polls on Tuesday and perhaps discover that there?

I was told the microchips in the COVID vaccination would automatically transmit a mail-in ballot with our preferred candidates. I'm a little disappointed

i would call the elections board on Monday.

I also signed up for forever mail in voting

spouse got hers- not me.

I tried to call the Essex county clerk- voicemail full

I voted early down at the zoo area the other day

This is a good resource but, unfortunately, it only gives your voting history (including when you voted via mail in in the past.) It does not have anything about recent mail-in ballot requests or your status ("Single Election" or "All Future Elections") as far as I can tell.  He DID vote via mail-in last year when everyone got the ballots, but his status on those elections for the mail-in was "Single Election" as might be expected since he had not submitted any permanent mail-in request at that point.

It is there but I didn't see it at first either. There is a button, Mail-in ballot history that shows different info from the voting history button.

I think the current election doesn't show yet as the election hasn't actually happened. But it shows when you click  the Mail-in ballot  history button.

But does that button show anything about the current election if the voter hasn't voted yet?  Mine DOES show that my mail-in ballot was received, but I didn't check it before I voted to see if it showed anything about my status as an "All Future Elections" mail-in voter.  His only shows the last election he voted in.

Sorry, misunderstood the issue you were having. Don't know the answer.

He's just going to go on Tuesday and see if the book says he is mail-in or not and find out what to do going forward.
