Interior Painting Question

I had planned on priming and painting a small interior room today. The directions on the can of primer say to apply when relative humidity is 85% or lower.  The weather app indicates humidity is currently 94%.  If I put on the primer today will it just take longer to dry or will it fail to ever dry properly?

It will likely be fine and dry properly, if more slowly. But if I was me, I'd wait and apply the paint as per the manufacturer's instructions.

Thanks for your feedback.  I’ve decided to hold off priming/painting until the humidity drops.

if you have a box or oscillating fan you should be fine. No need to wait.

Thanks! We have a box fan that I can setup in the room.  Will tackle the job tomorrow since it looks like the humidity will be sticking around for days.

Our only dehumidifier is working overtime in the basement.
