Grooves on Market? Is that the owner behind the desk or an actor of yours? I'd imagine they get steamrolled with shoot requests, did they let you film there for free?

The salesman was an actor. I didn't make the arrangements, but I believe we shot for free, provided we showed the shop in the movie. Same for the diner. In fact, we encountered another film crew shooting in a nearby place which had charged to do so. We chuckled.
Such a sweet movie! Thank you for the chance to watch.

That's right. It's a bit confusing to call it a "vote" - giving a good rating to one movie doesn't mean ou can't give a good rating to another, so you're not really "voting", just saying how good you think it is.
Thought you might like to know that the short movie (10-minute) in which I have the lead is currently entered into an online competition.Take a look, should you fancy it, and vote/rate it if you feel so moved. It's good.
