Local Hotel Recommendation?

Can you recommend a nice hotel (not a B&B) where I can spend my last night in the area? I decided to treat myself rather than sleep on a futon on the floor.....Thanks!

ETA: Has anyone stayed at the hotel on the Parkway by the Galloping Hill Golf Course? That would be a perfect location for me. Thanks again.

mums I believe you are referring to The Kenilworth (Inn) off of GSP near Galloping Hills....Place always looked kind of seedy as I zoomed past it on GSP...but, apparently it underwent an extensive reno recently, and most folks (on Yelp / Google) gave it decent reviews after the reno.

Yes, that's the one! I never noticed it before until the last 6 months or so.

I just looked at their website and couldn't tell its current state. Hilton at Short Hills = $300/night! YIKES!

Turtle Brook Inn in West Orange.........Nice ratings. Half the cost of the Hilton. Free Breakfast in the morning. Always mention affinity groups.....AA, AARP etc for possible discount.

Well, I wound up at the Courtyard Marriott in West Orange. Same price as the Kenilworth and found other recommendations for this hotel on another older thread. I initially didn't want to stay in the opposite direction from where I'd be driving in the morning, but it will be good if I have to stop off at the house and pick up more stuff on my way down the shore. Thanks all for your recos!
