We had this done about 10 years ago and I still love my new kitchen. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend my contractor as he has retired. Perhaps you could try TGFN across from Columbia HS. If they can't do this, they may be able to steer you to a competent source. good luck
We got new wooden cabinet doors in a shaker style, granite countertops with an undermount sink, fresh hardware... Plus new appliances (our old ones were really old and a driver of the update). Our contractor rehung the doors of the glass upper cabinets with new hinges.

Looking for local contractors/handypeople for kitchen upgrade that would include keeping built-in 1940s wood cabinets but upgrading their look and functionality inside and out, installing backsplash and new countertops, flooring and possibly two new windows. Not interested in a total rehab, just formica and linoleum removal and a more contemporary look!.
