Looking for recommendation for driveway repair person/resurfacer

I am looking for recommendations of driveway repair people.  I received one estimate for a total redo that was really high and I am not sure if it's reflective of the going rate.  So I thought I'd reach out to see if anyone had a positive experience with a driveway repair person who was timely, did a good job and was reasonably priced.

Our driveway is pretty much a wreck, so I'm not sure that resurfacing would be an option.  If anyone else has a driveway that they only had resurfaced, how long does that last?  Trying to determine if we should dig up the existing driveway and replace it the right way or if resurfacing it for a much smaller amount could be a way to go if it tides us over for several years.

Thanks for your help.

I've used them twice. Seal coat and patch job post-tank removal. Great work. Local (Springfield?) family-owned company. I have recommended them numerous times and never heard a bad word about their work.

Edited to add: I remember them telling me that most driveways never need a "full replacement". Simply patching and coating will be good enough.

I did my driveway(complete re-do) about 5 years ago by Carmines, it was 6.5k for the driveway and about 2k for the Belgium block to line the driveway.  It came out great.  I thought that once they ripped up the driveway and leveled it, they could pave right away, but that is not the case as the gravel has to sit for 2-3 weeks to settle/harden.

Any rough idea of the length and square footage of your driveway?

No idea of the area of the driveway, but it is fairly steep and long.  Thanks for the info.  I am actively getting quotes and having your estimate (although from a few years ago) is providing me with a point of reference.
