Parking on the street near JSQ is tough. There is a lot of construction nearby. There may be parking at the lot right across the street. I think it is $7 per day. Another option is to check the parking garages near Grove Street or Exchange Place.
Thanks - I'm fine with a pay lot.
The lots in Harrison are generally quite full mid-day. Just trying to get a sense if the lots at Journal Square are full too.
Had a good recent experience parking near Newark Penn for the PATH. Quite a few lots in that area.
Good point - forgot about Newark. Was the good experience mid-day or in the morning?
You could also drive to the Newport Mall and park there and take the PATH at Laconia to the WTC. You just pay like you were shopping. Not much and not as long because you are closer.
Thanks. I made the trip last Thursday. Ended up parking at Newark PATH.

I need to get into lower Manhattan later today and plan on driving to PATH at either Harrison or Journal Square (from south on the turnpike), likely around 2:30 or 3pm.
I've had bad experience finding parking at Harrison mid-day. Does anyone know if it is any better at Journal Square?
