I've been putting everything I've made back into this platform the past 5 years.  A lot is behind the scenes that isn't too apparent on the surface.

Lately, we added the functionality to start your own person or private community which you can sign up for here for free.  https://worldwebs.com/

Hopefully in the next couple months there will be a larger roll out and will provide more detail on how and why you may want to use this - along with all of the capabilities.  

I'm currently trying to find assistance in rolling this out.  If anyone has any experience with online startups or can point me in the right direction - please let me know.  

Also, if anyone locally is interested in getting more involved with improving the MOL platform let me know!  We're also looking for people in neighboring communities to run our other town sites.

 I tried to donate but I got an error message that says "Your payment has failed."  

hmm, thanks for trying - a few did some through ok.  With it gave a more detailed reason for the error.  You can go the old route in case it doesn't work:

I'm sorry the tip was so meager this year. Any discretionary $$ during this period has gone to the Georgia run-offs (in addition to discretionary time spent phone banking). I know you and Dave will understand.

 Thanks Wendy - your work with phone banking is a tip for everyone.  I hope we can pull it off.

The new way worked for me (got an email receipt). 

But right after submission I wasn't sure it went through because it puts you back on the empty form that says: 

• Enter your address and credit card details:

While it does also say:

• Thank you for your support! Click here to go to your accounts home page.

Thanks  - I did get the tip.  Thanks for reporting the glitch - I'll look into that.

And I'm still happy to do so. The new method worked fine, although my itchy trigger finger meant that I paid twice. OTOH, I noticed that I tipped less in 2019 than in 2018, so what the hell, this made up for it.

 I know Apollo_T has already made a donation, but just for others...

If you use the 'old route' and select the Donate through Paypal option, you'll get taken to another screen where you are given the choice of using Paypal, or using a credit or debit card.

Just fill in the amount you want to tip and choose the option you want to use.
