You could try unique in fairfield on route 46. They could point you in the rigt direction.
I was unaware that Mack had a bad reputation. I have never had anything but good service there.
Well, I'm not meaning to cast aspersions. I haven't had any personal experience with them. I did look them up on Yelp, but they only have a small number of reviews, most of them not recent, and most of them not very good. But it's a small sampling. Maybe I'll give them a try, since they're close.
Otherwise, maybe the Fairfield place...

I used to go to maplewood village myself....I have NEVER found Millburn's camera to be helpful nor simply nice.....the place which i NOW go too is the camera place in florham park...right ON columbia turnpike (which is merely south orange ave, but once it passes livingston mall, its called columbia turnpike)...the block passed Macdonalds (i guess kinda right next to that Boxing place) is the camera shop....the guy is VERY knowledgeable, very nice and very helpful....for the past several years i immediately shoot to his place when i have any camera, or photography concerns....the guy is also an expert scuba diver and does alot of underwater photography too....(although he and i disagree where the best pizza shop is! 
)
Different store. There used to be a camera shop on Millburn Avenue. Long gone, sadly.

Having a relatively minor problem with an old point-and-shoot camera. Any place nearby to take the camera for advice/repair? I used to go to Millburn Camera on Millburn Avenue, but that place has been gone for a long time. Mack Camera in Springfield doesn't have such a great reputation. Looking for trustworthy alternative.
