New file attachment capability (yes even that one Soda)

In addition to images, you can now attach Word Docs, Excel files, PDFs, PSD and yes, the one extension that Soda has been bugging me for the last 5 years, I expect him to demonstrate this shortly.  @soda

Finding my pictures post but now the don't move forward to the title. What's up with that. Files too big?

Thanks for the heads up - we will figure this out.  Shouldn’t have anything to do with file size.

this has been fixed - we had an issue when the file extension was capitalized ie: JPG - no problem now.

I think I might be a bit slow in that regard.  downer
I'll keep an eye out for a post from @soda ... and maybe find out that way!

Edited to add:  Ha!  Got it!  Thank you.

yes - my previous comment said that wav files are now accepted.

Can load a .wav file, but the system won't allow an .mp3.

(Edited to add: I didn't see your post above, @jamie, before I posted this comment.)

yes - only wav files at the moment.

I've just posted a short example in the Inconsequential Chat blog.
(Edited to add.  It is part of something I recorded many years ago, in November, 2009.)

who the heck uses wav files anymore?

Soda?  lol I'll get mp3s working also. Was more concerned about filesharing and copyright issues with mp3s. Sharing PDFs - PSD - DOC and XLS type files were the main part of this update.

Me!  But then again, I work in the VO field and will send in whichever format the client requests.

That's why I used one of my recordings to demonstrate the system.  No copyright issues there.

Thank you, Jamie. That link brought back some painful memories.

.Wav's? I still got 'em. Here are two I would've considered as closing numbers back when I left MOL for a short while a long while ago...

...And yes, I've converted all of them to .mp3, but I'm a sentimental guy.

It'sOver!.wav
It'sOver!2.wav

We'll be embedding the files into a player so that it doesn't pop up in a new window.  Might be up tomorrow.

the wav player in mulemom's post doesn't work. the others do.

 It works for me!

However, I've just discovered that if you click on the mp3 or wav icon, the audio will open in a new window.
If you click on the 'Play' triangle in the play bar, you'll stay on the same page.

(Ahem.  This may become a de facto Test thread)

Test-posting two examples in the one reply.

They both play independently of each other, too.

Oh, that's odd!  The one I posted worked when I tested it after submitting the post, but it doesn't work for me now.  Anyone know how I can fix it?

Do you mean you can't play the one from June 5th?  Or you just tried adding a new one?

edison.WAV

Yah, the one from June 5th won't play now.
