weird works ok for me - do the other wav files play ok? can you click on the file name and play it? Are you seeing the player? What browser are you using? thanks for the feedback!
It shows up as an error on my iPhone also - the direct link doesn’t work either. So it must be some older wav codecs that modern browsers can’t handle.
You know, I don't think mulemom's file is actually a wav file. That may be the problem. If you download the file and look at the properties using a program like vlc, it comes up as an mpga file, which is essentially an mp3 file.

Hmmmm... I tried to convert it to mp3 using Audacity but all I got was a burst of static. Might be that's why it's still stored on my computer as a .wav It wouldn't surprise me if it's just too antiquated to be useful in today's world, it's probably old enough to vote.
From my 7:59 post yesterday - I downloaded the file, brought it into a video program I use and re-saved it as test.wav - it works on firefox. It's probably an updated codec.

It's showing as a .wav, but if you take a look at the file's properties, you'll see it's an mp3.
I wonder, though, how you get a file to show up as a .wav, when it's actually an mp3? Just curious.
I guess it happens if the software just looks at the extension. Most players examine the metadata before playing it to make sure it uses the right codec.
Maybe I'll try VLC media to convert all my .wavs to mp3s. Never occurred to me that there were so many different properties involved in relatively simple files.
