Peterson field guide and other birding Apps

This is really annoying- I think I bought this app last year - now it’s blocking access and functionality unless I upgrade for $10.  Not cool!  I can see some birds but they’re blurring out most of the pages,

hmm, maybe I never purchased it - or I had it on another phone. I just re-downloaded it to a new phone so this could be the case.  Seems like I had a 24 hour trial period.

There is an excellent free app called Merlin  it is from Cornell University..

I used it last summer and enjoyed the bird call feature.

So if Petersons is not for you you might want to give it a try .

I keep hearing about the Merlin ap. It's advertised on the Cornel Lab of Ornithology.
