Place to donate Toys?

I have a bunch of toys that I would like to donate.  They are mainly plastic fire trucks and the like for a boy about 2-5 in relatively good condition.

Any ideas where I could try to drop these off?  I tried Goodwill yesterday and was surprised to learn that they don't take toys.

St Joesph's has a rummage sale this weekend.  Don't know if it is too late to make donations.  Morrow church has their sale coming up soon.  Proceeds from both go to good causes.

Which Goodwill did you go to?  I'm pretty sure the one on Morris Ave takes toys.

I know Unique in Union takes toys.

That was the one.  They said it was against their policy.

I should have said that the toys were from a boy. I am sure that children of any gender might enjoy playing with them.

Can you hold on to them for two more weeks? Morrow starts collecting for Turnover on June 15.

What are Morrow and turnover?

Turnover is the annual rummage sale/fundraiser held by Morrow church, a Methodist congregation.  I think the sale started during the Depression.  We save stuff all year to donate for the sale. I’m sure they’d appreciate your toy donation.

Morrow Turnover Sale is "The Miracle on Baker Street"  I think last year was its 89th or 90th year!

I think they'll still take donations -- & toys are always big sellers.
