TC member posted on Facebook that power lines are down at two locations on Maplewood Avenue.
Just came back on.
Side note for those considering a whole-house generator, a neighbor’s one kicked in almost immediately when the power went out. Pretty cool...
Another side note for all of us. Trim your trees to keep them away from power lines. Don't wait for them to get too big to handle.
A large oak fell across Maplewood Ave between Durand and Beech, taking out lots of power lines. I just got permission to move my car—they’re still working on clearing the tree before they start the line work.
