R.I.P., Allen Toussaint

I really enjoyed the Elvis Costello doc with him a few years back ... 


I'm sure there are a lot of mixed feelings in New Orleans.  While everyone there respects his musical talent, almost as many feel he cheated musicians out of payments. 


Interesting. I hadn't known there was that knock against him. Not hard to imagine, though, considering his studio control and all his writing and arrangement credits.
