Recos for NJ -> FL movers, car shipper?

Any suggestions? And has anyone ever shipped a car?

We used them when we moved stuff from Florida to NJ after my MIL passed away. I would highly recommend them.

Thanks, I'll give them a call.

Anyone else have any ideas?

We used this company for a nj to sc move 3 months ago. They were absolutely great. Really fantastic and friendly crew, nothing was lost or broken and they even refunded us money after the move because we'd estimated more than we moved.
I highly recommend them.
Oh, and they were FAST.
Loaded up a 4 bedroom house in about 5 hours and unloaded the truck at the other end in 3.

Over the summer I had a car shipped from the midwest to here for the first time and used Car Shipper USA. They had good feedback and I was very pleased with their price, communication and performance. Just be aware that pick up and drop off dates need to be a bit flexible given weather, car sequence and allowable drive time.

I've contacted the two movers above, would like to get another estimate or two. Any more suggestions?

Just wanted to update:

On a friend's recommendation, used University Van Lines in Rahway (an Atlas affiliate) http://www.universityvanlines.com/.

I can't praise them enough -- they came to the house and did a thorough estimate for shipping house contents and car, and packing the kitchen (and, it turned out, a bit more than that).

Two men came to do the packing, and returned the next day and loaded it all on the van, along with the car (and even helped me dispose of leftover junk). Super nice and helpful guys.

Ten days later (exactly on time) two different guys, equally pleasant and helpful, showed up at my new home, unloaded, unpacked the huge wardrobe boxes, and even took away a sofabed the previous owner had left. I've now almost finished unpacking the boxes, and found just one broken item (and I think I may have done that myself).

The whole thing was about as stress-free as possible (I wish I'd had them do MORE of the packing), and actually came in $300 under the estimate (which was less than the others I'd gotten). And they take credit cards--one less thing to worry about.

PM me if you need more info.
