what you get from an Unaccompanied Minors show...the obvious appearance of the joy in performing and making great sounds collectively.
I saw/heard them perform with the Maplewood Glee Club last month and they were great!
besides the remarkable talent and obvious work they put in, I cant think off the top of my head of any other activity that welcomes back any club alumni in attendance to participate in part of the event at some point.
For any parents out there who have kids who like to sing, 13 seniors graduated from the Unaccompanied Minors this year and they will need new voices. As a parent of one of the UM's, I can say that my daughter has had a very positive experience with the group, especially as a freshmen when some of the upperclassmen supported her to try out for a solo.
There's not much information yet, but the UM's will also appear in Lifetime's new show "Sing It".
