Show us your awesome tree

Today is Arbor Day and to celebrate our Amazing trees. Maybe it was when my brother, a tree nut, pointed out that if the one big tree I have in yard dies, I will never in my lifetime have such a large and majestic tree. It took more than my lifetime to grow so big. So then I started looking around and noticing what amazingly awesome trees we have in Maplewood and SO. So go take a picture of your tree or anyones and post it on this thread. Lets see who.has the best. If I can figure out how to upload a picture, I will put up one from Memorial Park. But others should go ahead.

What is the secret to uploading photos? Only on a desktop?

You have to wait until the loading is complete. You will then see another image.jpeg just above the word submit (and below the attachment box.)

That is when you can hit the submit button.  grin

While I always thought the weeping silver linden in my yard was pretty great, it's nice to have the independent confirmation of experts, like this enormous swarm of honeybees who decided to take a break there today.  I called a local couple to come get them but sadly by the time they arrived, the swarm had moved on. It was remarkable.
