Site is sometimes slow

I'm aware - we had a tweak this morning to fix one thing - but may have affected something else.

Actually not too bad at the moment.

You can actually go here to test: https://tools.pingdom.com/#633ddbd5d1400000

Under 5 seconds is ok at the moment - over 10 is when we're having an issue.

FYI, site is quite slow for me, and has been for at least the last week (actually it's almost always quite slow for me). I'm seeing load times of around 30s, plus a few more seconds after that for the scripts and such to finish loading and the page to become active. I also regularly see it load without any CSS.

definitely slower than usual right now

Yup - it's been up and down a lot in the past few hours - main issues are server timeout and invalid certificate.

I've been trying like crazy to pin this down - will probably end up upgrading the server shortly.

And just now it's fast -- around a second to load.

tweaked a few things (again). But who knows.

I blame it on the loose cannons who inhabit this place…

spoke too soon. and the comment box appears to have shrunk

yeah - it was too good to be true.  Think I found something -TLS is 1.1 and should be 1.2 my WHM isn't giving me this as an option.  Server guys are looking into it.  Reboot may happen at some point in the near future.

We had a pretty good uptime the past few days - then I just tried tweaking something and it went a bit wacky again.

In the meantime - I've been looking into upgrading our server and other options - thanks for everyone's support!  Hopefully we'll have a longer term solution soon.

Often one that has not been renewed.
