Tech sales

We've all heard of the black monday electronics sales. How good are these-vendors/products? I may be in mkt for a new camera a/o laptop/ 2 in 1. Can we score real bargains? Current models of desirable stuff?

Margins are always thin. When they cut them thinner, it reflects what the new permanent price will be soon. So no, it's not like buying clothes at half off.

It really depends, I have bought some at the time current laptops, screens and other electronics for great bargains, around black Friday/cyber Monday. Always online. BestBuy, you can shop black Friday deals online, and then store-pickup the next day, without the madness. It really comes down to the individual deal. There are also plenty of 'deals', that shortly thereafter become the new regular price, as Tom mentions above.

So it comes down to, "Can I wait..." as a way to avoid the shopping frenzy. If I can wait till cyber Monday I'm sure I can wait till January.. and sometimes score a real deal on a used camera.
