Somehow I completely missed this thread.

Excited to go through it!

Johnny Cash. "Don't Take Your Guns To Town"

Don't forget the yacht rock crowd got in on the action... Christopher Cross and Michael McDonald on backup. Heh.

Somehow forgot this sweet thing when this thread was alive:

Excellent playlist! Some of my favorite artists here. In fact, I saw Marty Stuart and the Red Dirt Rangers (separately) recently (I live in Red Dirt country now) and saw Dave Alvin/Jimmie Dale Gilmore a couple months ago in NYC. The Outlaw Country Cruise is my annual travel splurge.

Bromberg's "Young Westley" is a beautiful bluegrass western outlaw song.  Apologies if I already posted it when the the thread was firs active)

Thanks! Over time I've created other fun playlists that may be of interest. Here's one: "Living in a Political World." (Politics, racism, criminal justice, domestic violence, war, commercial dishonesty, pop culture and more.)

kthnry, I looked at the performers on the Outlaw Country Cruise. Very nice line up. Shinyribs alone makes it worth the price of admission. I saw him/them at City Winery couple months ago and he/they were so much fun. One of my favorite shows of 2023, for sure.
