that verse isn’t on the version I’ve just listened to on YouTube, although they nearly launched into it before the jokes. Skiffle was heaps of fun, but apparently ‘youse’ didn’t really get that musical phase.

 I think there may have been a couple of versions, tweaked for different markets.  I suspect the verse quoted above came from the US version, as there are references to a 'white house' in it.
