uber from prudential center to maplewood?

I'm going to the Devils game Tuesday night, and considering taking an Uber car home to Maplewood afterwards. Has anyone done this? Is it easy to get a car immediately after the game (probably around 9:30 or 10)? Was there "surge pricing" due to the crowds coming out of the game?

I haven't used Uber but have just hopped in a waiting taxi/car around the arena after a hockey game and was charged a flat rate. It was either $50 or $60 to get to Maplewood (can't remember which). There were lots of cabs and black sedans waiting after the game so I didn't have to use Uber or make a call to a service.
