Unless she's talking about Trump's hair, will Pelosi be able to substantiate her 'Cover-Up' claims, given the two year Mueller investigation producing nothing tangible?  It's typical politics as we wave goodbye to an infrastructure bill.  Let's all pat our representatives on the back as they continue to kick the can down the road on things that matter.
This post averages more than one error per sentence. Very impressive.

Yet it says more than your last 50 posts put together.

Democrats have shown much more childish behavior, allowing their hatred for the 2016 election result to obscure all else. Even after a two year long investigation, there is no stopping the assaults on the White House. What about the big picture? America is beset with many issues — infrastructure ranking high — much more important than DJT’s tax returns. Harping and bickering have wrought the real DNC conflict of the future  — the dazzling rise of its liberal wing. The current leaders better start looking over their shoulders and start working.

Interesting look at Europe’s efforts at statehood.

a couple of things -- the Congress could work on legislation and conduct investigations at the same time.  And the president could ignore the investigations and do his job.  Remember the 1990s?  Congress was constantly investigating Bill Clinton.  But legislation was passed, and signed in bipartisan cooperation even though a bunch of mostly bogus investigations were proceeding.

and the other important difference between then and now is that the Senate is where legislation goes to die.  There is NO way Mitch McConnell would ever bring an infrastructure bill to the floor of the Senate if it passes the House.

well, yeah, you're correct, finally, if more is defined as inaccuracies.

And if infrastructure is so-o-o-o important to the R's and Trump (it's not, btw, except as a way to funnel money to their fat cat friends) why did Trump have a hissy fit and blow off the meeting to discuss infrastructure? Because Pelosi pissed him off?

I guess, in reality, it's Trump who can't do more than one thing at a time, not the House.

Trump needs to put his big boy pants on.

You're correct except most of your posts are inaccurate.

The payments to the porn star and playboy model were what; charitable donations to struggling college students?

No, they were payments by someone who wanted to keep his activities quiet.  Next.

Well, firstly there are still crimes being investigated, leading to things such as the Stephen Calk indictment today. Secondly, with regards to the big picture, Trump didn't have to walk out of that meeting to tell us about the Democrat's achomlishments. He could have just sat there and took the damn meeting like an adult.

no opinion re the rise of AOC and others. Odd, that.

it's a good thing for the country to have vocal progressives in Congress

I love the way she makes Fox News and the rest of the right-wing go bananas.

it's asinine to pretend that any conflicts between the progressives and centrists in the Democratic Party are anything out of the ordinary. Have people forgotten the House Freedom Caucus and how they were in constant conflict with John Boehner? And somehow that didn't prevent the GOP from having electoral success.

Somehow the conventional wisdom is that no matter what the Democrats do, it's going to hurt them with voters. But whatever bat **** crazy stuff the Republicans do is OK.

Lessons to be learned from Brexit for the folks in Washington — read it thru, there is a punch line that will jump up at you.

I suspect my sense of humor isn't congruent with yours.  What's the "punch line" I'm looking for?

because you asked so nicely...

“He’s still establishment,” Mr. McCarthy said. “Somewhere in politics we need a change.”

“We need Trump, that’s who we need,” his wife, Carmel McCarthy, 60, interjected. “At least he’s not afraid to say what he thinks.”

I understand now how I missed it.  I try not to find humor in the misfortunes of others, especially the misinformed.

Do you think being 'not afraid to say what he thinks' is a good thing for a politician?  How about for posters on MOL?

Now, I'm reminded of Mrs Gold, of happy memory.

I mentioned her here previously. She lived in Germany during the Nazi reign. Her mother publicly expressed her intense dislike for Hitler. She got in trouble but what saved her was having eight or nine children (Nazi's do love good Aryan breeders) and that the farm was very productive. More than once she was called into the town and "talked" to. The one that really upset everyone was the casualty death of a neighbor with her telling the relatives "you voted for Hitler, what did you expect? Cry on his shoulder."

Anyway, Mrs Gold said a reason given for the wonderfulness of the Fuhrer was that he's good man, a courageous leader who says what he believes.

insulting to the outspoken English lady, and an over the top, intended comparison of Trump to Hitler.

You're the last one I'd listen to on who is insulting. This comparison exists. Sorry it does not match one of your many fantasies.

Here's a little something from a columnist and a Nobel Prize winner:

And I don’t just mean that they should be grateful to see Trump displaying his unfitness for office, which has long been clear to close observers, in such a dramatically unhinged way that only cultists can fail to see it. - Krugman

Enjoy your cult.

you don't find "harping and bickering" within cults.

Did I compare Trump to Hitler?

What I compared is the cultist thinking, especially with populist authoritarian movements. The populist leader, often with followers saying "he's not an elite, he speaks for us, he speaks the truth."

Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Chávez all had their populace saying so. Doesn't matter right or left wing.

When you in support of Trump phrased,

“He’s still establishment,” Mr. McCarthy said. “Somewhere in politics we need a change.”
“We need Trump, that’s who we need,” his wife, Carmel McCarthy, 60, interjected. “At least he’s not afraid to say what he thinks.”

I was certainly reminded. Yes, the Good Germans. Hitler says what he thinks, unlike the elite Junkers, the degenerate rich politicians or the horrible Jews and their Lügenpresse.
