What Is This?

This is a vine type of thing with green berries that have ripened into purple berries the berries are slightly smaller than blueberries. It has climbed a small tree and the fence. Any ideas on what it is

would need a photo ;-

Look up nightshade vine or bittersweet night shade

and then pull it off the tree and fence by it's roots and discard grin

Sorry, I have bronchitis, and it is apparently affecting my brain! Here is a pic.

Looks like wild grape

Its Porcelain Berry. Berry pretty and Berry Invasive!

Porcelain Berries are too pretty to eat By Rockland Forager on September 19, 2012 - See more at: http://www.suburbanforagers.com/2012/09/19/porcelain-berries-too-pretty-to-eat/#sthash.hrKQJl6u.dpuf

I'm not suggesting this but I did a search and came up with this article that says it is edible. It discusses its wildly invasive behavior.

Thank you all! I let it run wild in that part of my yard because, not only am I a lazy garner, but the bees LOVE that vine, and swarm it most of the summer. It's like a soup kitchen for bees, and I don't use any pesticides or sprays on my lawn or plants, so I figure I am helping them out

A giant arugula plant attracts bees by the dozen in my garden. Curiously, it make no seeds whatsoever.

This porcelain berry thing is a little embarrassing--here I've been thinking it was wild grape!

But it really is very pretty (and no, not poisonous, nor tasty for that matter).
