What's growing in your garden?

This year we're determined to grow tomatoes for ourselves and NOT for the squirrels.  We netted them this year.  Pictures to follow.  @TigerLilly

I would love to try growing them but I wondered if the deer would just yank the whole thing apart.

My Foxglove are no longer this full but they are still blooming. Although this species is sterile, I have been gathering seeds from my white ones. These are Polka Dot Polly and the leaves are glossy and have not become ragged the way the others are.  They are on their 3rd year but didn't bloom the first one. As they are biennials and sterile, I think this is farewell.

Most of the raspberries (or wineberries) in my backyard are finished. A good crop this year, but all the later berries are unusually small.

The coneflowers & black-eyed Susans are doing well. They always seem irrepressible.

The sunflowers on my berm seem shorter this year, but they’re starting to bloom in force and they have months yet to grow. Last year, one hit 11 ft.

The bees are happy, which makes me happy.

No veggies, but flowers “feed” the soul...
