What's the best free cloud backup? Gotta replace MOZY...

I've been happily using (free) MOZY for years, but now they're eliminating free backup, having been bought by Carbonite...  What should I switch to???

FWIW, I am very happy with Carbonite (I was a Mozy user who switched to Crash Plan when I had issues with Mozy, then to Carbonite when Crash Plan discontinued home service, focusing on commercial).

Carbonite is not free, and therefore does not meet your criteria, but it is secure, reasonably priced, fairly easy to use, and has saved my bacon more than once.

Thanks Max. I am looking for something for my wife to use to back up her MacBook in the cloud, as well as our regular desktop. I'll look into Carbonite.

Speaking of saving your bacon using Carbonite...

I'll take Max's advice. Thanks, Maestro...

I don't think free services are very good. I use backblaze for $5/month and am happy with it. I also have a backup system in my home, so I have a belt and suspenders. I highly recommend you practice restoring from your backups periodically to make sure it's working and to make sure you know how. In a crisis, you might not have a level head. I call it a fire drill.

More good advice. Thanks, Tom...
