And yes, I am a woman who has on make up every single time I ride the train - but I put mine on at home (with 3 little kids at my feet). When you put on powder, blush etc. some of it becomes air borne and can be inhaled or fall on your shirt - someone else's - especially in the close proximity of a train car. I don't want to wear someone else's makeup - nor do I want to inhale it. Again, IMO only, but only self-entitled women believe their lives are such that this is warranted or necessary.
