Daily Dose of CUTE! It's been a while!

Anya doesn't make much more noise than Winston, but she CAN. She just doesn't, most of the time. And Sasha, when she was alive, never, ever meowed. Unless she was at the vet. Vet visits were the only reason we knew she HAD a voice. But when she used it, we KNEW.

Aw, it makes me feel kinda bad too! Maybe that was just his starter meow, and they looped them all together.

miracle hardly meows! i think she has less then a dozen times since we adopted her in 2003! when she does though they are usually blood curdling! like she's being viscously attacked!

lately i have gotten meows out of my cat that she's never had before. because i'm unemployed, i'm with her a lot more and i think we've bonded even more if that is possible. anyway sometimes they have noises in 'em!

Definitely cute, but more amazing--I sure do love dolphins (with narrator extrodinaire, sir David Attenborough):

It's a baby Dik-Dik. Do you know how it got that name? According to the caption under one of the photos here--http://tinyurl.com/y8caza3--"Native to Kenya, Tanzania and Namibia, the dik-dik gets its name from the noise it makes when running for cover." Is that not the cutest thing ever? It's an ANTELOPE, people!!!

One of my best vacation memories was when we were on a cruise in the Mediterranean. I was sitting on the veranda one morning just at dawn, and a trio of dolphins were swimming right next to the ship, just off our stateroom. With the sun rising in the background and the dolphins right beside me, I was in heaven.

We go dolphin watching every summer when we're in Cape May. We see some every year, usually with babies. And they swim by our beach just about every day.

Some day, before I die, I will swim with them. In the wild, NOT in captivity!

Meand -

Kin to your dream: This Thanksgiving we were in Hilton Head, temps in the high 50's and windy on the beach. My crazy niece was out in her kayak with dolphins feeding and frollicking all around her, maybe within 10 feet or so. It was an amazing thing to watch, and they acted quite oblivious to her presence.

And those South Jersey dolphins are cool to observe, aren't they? We've had many years observing them, as well, and it never gets old.

Dolphins are magical. And one of these days I will get out there in a kayak with them. Your niece sure was lucky!

I thought that was a stuffed animal! Are you sure it's real and not a toy?

Simon's Cat "Snow Business" parts 1 AND 2! How great is that bird? I love when he does the kitty imitation!

Don't touch a wild dolphin. It's cruel and dangerous.

Oh, MATB, I love the completed version of that Simon's Cat video! I just love his work. For me, the best part is the little noises the cat makes, the trills and chirps. They are so much like the sounds my cats make.

Exactly. The creator of Simon's Cat obviously KNOWS CATS. The mannerisms, the facial expressions, the body language, the vocalizations are all spot on! And how perfect is it that the ultimate motivation for everything the cat does is eating?! And I love the chirping of the birdie in this one. Sounds exactly like a bird, but "talking!"

This video was sooooo cute. Thank you for sharing. I liked the part when the cat hit the bird with a snowball and the bird hit the window. lol. Counldnt help but laugh.

I love me some Pixar. There isn't a thing they've done that I don't like. And it seems they just keep getting better. Went out and bought "UP" on DVD because I loved it so much!

DOGGIES! I particularly like the pit toward the end with his/her big 'ol tongue hangin' outta his/her big 'ol head!!

does anyone else feel bad for simon's cat? mean old bird!

matb's i too love pixar! bought the deluxe edition of up!

Oh, I don't know JTA, I'd say Simon's cat and the bird are pretty much evened up at the end there.

true! the best part was the bird getting stuck on the door!

reminds me of tom and jerry in a way. poor tom will be sleeping minding his own business and jerry does something to him. tom always ends up being the one who gets it the worst.

do you know pixar has a facebook page?

OMG, I LOVE this ad! Too bad I've never seen it on TV.

I posted this on another thread but thought is was so funny/cute I had to post it here too. The bunny is cute as heck, and his little bunny lips are so, I don't know, flexible. And the lady laughing is so funny she makes me laugh. Don't know if there are more than two people--other than me--following this thread, but TOUGH. I'm gonna keep posting because it makes me happy!

meand, that was adorable (and the lady laughing is infectious!)!

I'm here Meand! I watch them all! It makes me happy, too.

I'm also still here. I check this thread from time to time to see if there are any additions...

Might even start contributing, you never know.

So funny debby. Big old couch potato greyhound's all like "NO! I'm NOT GOING! I'm tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrreeed!"

Glad to see some folks are still checking in. As for that bunny and the lady laughing, it's so fun I think I need at least another 12 seconds. It's just too short!

Yup, greyhounds are like that. Well, my Red is. Waffle is the opposite. Immediately after we return from a walk, she might mistake someone's signal and think we're going right back out again, and she gets super excited.

Red even fooled the dog walker into thinking he was DEAD. She called him many times, and he was perfectly still and didn't appear to be breathing. She called her father, who also thought he was dead, until he nudged him.
