And our local shopping mall, Runaway Bay, was flooded in parts. This pic is looking out through the food hall to the Deck. You can see the river has burst its banks and flooded the graded bank and the pathway, steps and ramps. You can’t even see the jetty to the left of the screen.

ETA: All good. It’s now 10am, we got home maybe 90 mins ago. Many local roads are flooded and lots of staff (incl doctors) we’re having difficulty getting in; luckily, a consultant came for me and confirmed just asthma now controlled.
Our lake has not been this full for over 12 months. There are ducks here that have no idea how to swim in water so deep. It’s so funny watching them dive!
