I've seen Kelly Bishop around town (not recently tho), but when my oldest was an infant, I would see her on occasion at Ashley Market (when it used to be Eden). She once told me how cute my daughter was.
That's great. . . That would have been a huge deal if that happened to me and my wife (I am a bit of a Gillie).
There's a big Gilmore Girls reunion this weekend at the Austin Television Festival that they're streaming on EW.com. Nearly every living cast member will be there.

That is awesome!!!!

Funny, when I saw Mark Rudd above I was picturing the actor, Paul Rudd. Two very different guys...
You weren't the only one. Thanks, sprout. I appreciated the excuse to learn a little about the man.

It was of particular interest to me, as I was a child of an SDS/InCAR/PLP activist, and was brought to meetings, events, protests, counter-demonstrations, etc., for much of my young life. So different from what I'm giving my own kids as experiences, as on the weekends they instead... take sports classes.

Just gave me some food for thought.

I bumped into Ms. Warwick at the Rite Aid on SO Avenue and she was incredibly cantankerous. I didn't say anything to her at all but she must have thought I was going to approach her (I wasn't) and said something like, "I'm not being bothered today!" HUH? Whatevs, Ms. Warwick. I was so not checking for you.

Have we all bumped our heads in our forgetfulness of the incredibly, insanely talented with the voice of GOD, actor Andre Braugher???

I would pay to run into Andre at Cait and Abbey's getting coffee oh oh

I believe he was actually mentioned in the second post of the thread.

She accused me of following her last summer. I just happened to be behind her at the UPS store and then the post office at the same time. I didn't know it was her and I didn't care, until she said something. I just thought she was some random rude old lady oh oh

Does Dionne Warwick live in South Orange?

In high school I worked at the video store in downtown Maplewood. Ian Ziering of 90210 lived in West Orange, and once he came to Maplewood and parked right in front of the store. The show was huge at the time so that was cool!

She (Dionne) used to own the Mushroom House at the corner of SO Ave and Wyoming, but that was awhile ago.

Is that true? Where did Hill/Braff live?

Braff lived on Tillou Road, about halfway up towards Wyoming from the Ridgewood.

Hill lived in Montrose on Irving Avenue in SO.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think posting locations of celebrity houses is necessary. Many of us know where these people live, because our kids go to school with their kids or they are our neighbors. But unless they have held public events at their houses, I think they deserve a zone of privacy. There, I said it.

The historical stuff, of course, is different.

I ran into Andre Braugher (almost literally) at Ashley a couple weeks back. We then kept crossing paths within the store, so I'm sure he thought I was stalking him

There was a Mel Brooks show on HBO and he talked about how smitten he was the first time he saw Anne Bancroft.

He was between projects and made it his business to somehow be in places where and when she was performing or rehearsing. He thought he was being cool and one day approached her saying, "We keep bumping into each other. It's 'kismet.' "

"It's not 'kismet.' You're following me," she replied.

Actually, when growing up, Hill lived off Irvington Ave. - Eder Terrace, I think. She went to Clinton Elementary, SOMS and Columbia (and graduated on time while appearing in a Soap and filming Sister Act II)

If you hadn't noticed, these people don't live in these homes any more and it's not like anyone has posted physical addresses of these individuals.

Carry on....

Lauryn Hill, Andre Braugher, and Dionne Warwick all still live in town. Carry on . . .

Typo corrected.

If Lauryn is from SO how exactly did she “...begat this Flipping in the ghetto on a dirty mattress”? I know it gets a little sketchy as you get closer to the train station but its hardly the ghetto. Field trip perhaps?

Lauryn Hill, not Lauren

And yes, actually, I recall that being kind of a big issue when she first hit big. She made some claims about being "from the ghetto" and "keeping it real" and all that. It's all vague but I remember that pushback when I was in high school, which was when Miseducation came out.

Oops, fixed.

So? It's not like anyone knows where they will be on any given day or can effectively stalk them given what's in this thread. I'm missing your point.

And the fandom, countrywide, are gnawing at the bit to log onto MOL and not Twitter, FB, Instagram, Snapchat and Vine where some of our neighbors log on in real time to let fans know where they are and what they are up to and what they are currently promoting? As much as I dig MOL, a stalker doesn't need MOL to navigate their way. They have investigated their target thoroughly and know far more about them than the innocuous items we've posted. If you feel so strongly that we are doing wrong then perhaps you should stop posting. You know, so you won't be a part of the threat.
