So, whoopee, five newspapers decided to tell us to drop the charges. After so many years? A bit late in the game.

Let a judge and jury decide.

Agree.  I think whatever court outcome, he would be released for time served at this point.  

I don't have strong opinion either way, but the situation needs to be resolved.
