What device it this happening on?  Ipad - phone - desktop.  It could be happening if you are using a private or incognito browser window.

 That might be it...I think I did fiddle with security settings on my phone, and might have changed something.  Thanks!

I don’t know if it’s update related or something else, but recently I’ve seen a lot of quotes with words on top of each other.  Anyone else?

I see the same when the quote is long.

It’s a feature to automatically compress the previously long blocks of green. If you want to read what’s in the green, you can Click to Read More. It can be a little temperamental — sometimes the type remains scrunched — but I think that’s because the commenter has either intentionally or accidentally tinkered with the quote.

Yes - this is a bug we had with long and embedded quotes.  We just solved this issue yesterday.  It won't correct previous posts - but going forward this shouldn't happen.  

Please let us know if you seen this happen with any new posts.  We also may be able to correct the old ones at some point as well.

When I have done that, the type often (always?) remains scrunched. 

Please report any new issues with overlapping text - I think my guys are working on tweaking any previous occurrence of this.

I don’t know if this is update- related, but there’s an issue with the ‘quote’ and ‘reply to this comment’ buttons.    A couple of times I’ve pressed one of these and the window doesn’t immediately open so I press the button several more times thinking my finger missed the mark on the screen.    A second later the window opens with five copies of the post I mean to respond to.   I’ve noticed that at least one other poster experiences this.  

I'm still having the slow loading issue, especially in the early am.  Impacts going from one thread to another and submitting posts.

"Insert link" no longer has an option to have the link open in a new window.  I usually select that, so that people clicking on a link I post don't get taken away from the MOL page they're on.

Any way to put that back?

 I'll try to see if we can make open a new window the default - we recently upgraded to the latest version and they took away that checkbox.

 I'll have my guys look into this - I think in the past when you hit 'quote' or 'reply to comment' the focus would bring you right down to the text box.  Now when you hit it - it's out of view usually, especially on mobile.

Jamie:  More like 6:00 am to 7:00 am.  PC/Chrome/FIOS.

Jamie.  There is something VERY wrong with the edit function on many of the threads(this one for example).  Hoping folks won't abuse this glitch.

Yeah I just edited nohero's post and there is no indication of who did it. 

Catch-22: How does jamie say he’s on the case, after Klinker craftily raised the issue, without calling more attention to it? How do I convey that jamie has already said he was on it, without running into the same catch?

yes - that's our quick fix at the moment.  They'll be back.
