If you haven't checked out the wine barrel on Springfield Avenue yet, that may save you the trip to Melbourne!

Interestingly enough, when I go to Wine Library I take SA/Morris up and Millburn Ave back. Millburn Ave to WL is ridiculous at times.
they have a lot of Australian wines?

I have, and liked them enough to think I'll be back there often, but they've got some serious catching up to do.
(And to be fully honest, it did take me a few seconds to catch that...well played.)

Ha! Love it..
Here is the email response from Mayor Bourke - I should add that he responded very quickly to my email.
Dear _______,
Thanks for the email, and I am sorry to hear about your near accident. And yes, this is exactly the type of issue that we are looking to address with the Complete Streets plan - amongst many others - and to me, we cannot get there fast enough. The majority of the improvements - and the corresponding safety benefits - will be installed from this summer thru next summer (the remaining work hits the areas by the fire dept, etc where we have less pedestrian flow). I have copied our administrator, Tim Gordon, and our police chief, Brian Gilfedder on this email so there are aware of your issue. I will be meeting with them later this week on other matters and will add this to the discussion. Thanks - Ted
Another poster mentioned jaywalkers and double parkers as a problem and I totally agree. I mentioned this in my email. As a driver through Millburn, the jaywalkers crossing three lanes of traffic are dangerous and the people who decide to put on their emergency blinkers and take over a lane of traffic just create road rage.
Just came back to this thread. I wasn't making Australian reference! Melbourne was my misspelling of Millburn autocorrected!
